Dear St. Joseph’s Youth Faith Formation Families:
The Catholic Church believes parents are the first teachers of their Catholic faith to their child. St. Joseph’s is grateful for the time you have given either at home and/or here at church in sharing our faith with your children.
As a parent, you model behavior that you would like your child to incorporate into his/her daily life now and as an adult. Through your actions, you are a witness to our faith for your child. Attending weekly Mass is something we Catholics are encouraged to do. Another support for your child is to pray, individually or as a family. The Sign of the Cross, Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Apostles’ Creed, and the Act of Contrition are prayers that all Catholics say.
Many thanks to all who have volunteered to help teach and to aide in the Youth Faith Formation Program. It is only with your help that our program is successful.
We pray: Holy Spirit you are the breath of life that fills us with strength as we face the challenges of the coming school year. You are the source of all unity. Guide us all, teachers and parents, in our mission to educate the children in our Parish. Encourage us to imitate the most holy Trinity by always giving more than we receive, and to share our burdens and joys in trust and friendship. We ask these things through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Please continue to watch the weekly church bulletin for additional information for Youth Faith Formation and Youth Group activities.
The parish office hours are 9:30am-12:30pm, 1:30pm-4:30pm (M-Th) and 9:30am-1:00pm (F).
Blessings,
